Presentation

This Tribute is the fruit of Serge Forté’s meeting with great musicians from all horizon, and specially with two exceptional personalities, Michel Petrucciani in 1990, and Oscar Peterson in 1996.

New York Studios System Two , Brooklyn, Special Guest : Mino Cinelu on percussions, Darren Beckett on drums, Jean Wellers on electric bass & acoustic bass, Serge Forté on piano.

Recorded in 48 intense hours, inspired by this very special New-York’s atmosphere, with the total and immediate musicians’s involvement, the exceptionnal Steinway, and very talented sound engineer Mickaël Marciani.

Paris 1990 Studios Davout : Duo with Michel Petrucciani on Serge Forté’s first cd , « Vaïna », Michel Petrucciani had nicely proposed to record a piano duet.

The last tune is a tribute to his memory, an unreleased take with his comments. "Thanks for All" has been released in january 2004.
